May Socks Done

May socks for SAM3 KAL. I used 1 skein Colinette Jitterbug in Velvet Damson. This is truly beautiful yarn to work with! I used KP Options (2 circs) size 1. The pattern is Eleanor; changes are the eye of partridge heel and picot edge.

It's a well written pattern and an easy knit. The result is a very nice pair of socks in just a FEW days!

Out of curiosity, how long are your feet? I have a skein of Jitterbug in my stash, but I've been afraid to use it yet because I'm worried that one skein won't make socks to cover my big feet (my feet are 9.75" long).

My feet are 9.5" and the sox are a little long. Also, the tops are 6"--you can always make them shorter. You should have enough yarn--on these I didn't have a lot left over--I'd say only on the larger men's might you run out. ...and they are stretchy.
